Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC Port Incoming After ESRB PC Rating Leaked

If you’ve been looking to get your wacky Japanese fighting series onto your gaming PC, the ESRB has good news. A Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC port is incoming after a PC rating for the game leaked online. What online store we’ll be buying it from however remains to be seen just yet.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be the second Yakuza game to be released on the PC. Its predecessor, the original Yakuza Kiwami, was released onto the PC on February 19, nearly two months ago. Previously, few of the main Yakuza games (of which there are 6 not counting spinoffs) have been on the PC.

The Yakuza Kiwami games will technically be adjusting this, considering that they’re remasterings of the original Yakuza games, but if you’ve been wanting to play Yakuza with the highest graphics ratings possible, playing the Yakuza Kiwami games on PC is your best bet.

The original Yakuza Kiwami came out on Steam when it released on February 19, but with the Epic Games Store snatching up a large number of PC games, even with series that had previously only been coming to Steam, there’s no telling if they’ll snatch up Yakuza Kiwami 2.

There’s no indication on when the Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC port will be releasing, either, so we’ll have to wait for Sega to give us an actual release date. However, the fact that it’s even getting a PC port to begin with with the ESRB rating will be enough for most fans, especially if they’re just getting introduced to the Yakuza games through the Kiwami titles on PC.

So, if you’re wanting to play the Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC port, just keep on the lookout either here on SegmentNext or some other website to see exactly when it will be coming out. Or, if you don’t want to wait, you can play Yakuza Kiwami 2 on Playstation 4 now.
