Nintendo E3 2019 Website Now Live to Share Announcements

Nintendo has finally launched its site for E3 2019 to share announcements and plans ahead of the event in Los Angeles this June. This E3 site will be your go-to source for everything related to Nintendo Switch platform between 11th – 13th June.

E3 2019 is not scheduled to start until June 11 but Nintendo is starting things early this time (on June 8) as they are organizing some “electrifying Nintendo game tournaments” ahead of the event. There will be face-offs between different players around the world which will be streamed live.

Here’s a description provided on the site:

June 11-13
It’s almost that time of year…
…and we’re as excited as you are! Luckily, you can learn about all the newest game announcements, tournament news, and Nintendo’s E3 plans right here, so stay tuned.

The tournaments include Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3, Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019 and more as the information is expected to be added to the site.

The only other option available on the site is to add above-mentioned dates to your digital calendars. Albeit, we are sure that this new site will be packed with some exciting new announcement by the time the event concludes.

Unfortunately, we don’t know yet about Nintendo plans for the big event including the exact date for Nintendo’s Direct. Last year, Direct stream took place on June 12 which might be the same date this year.

It’s expected to be like every previous year though there’s going to be definitely a change this time since big giants like Sony and Electronic Arts are not holding a press conference.

Sony and EA’s backing out of the event will give Nintendo a lot of more time than any previous year. It’s also the first time ever that only Nintendo and Microsoft are the console manufacturers at the event.

It’s rumored that Microsoft is possibly going to reveal its next-generation console. If that happens, we can expect Nintendo to do the same as there’s a lot of new information available on new Nintendo Switch models which are expected to be announced at E3 and arrive in 2019.

According to the reports, Nintendo Switch Mini and Nintendo Switch Pro models are in works. Switch Mini will be a cheaper model and it will let go of main features of the original console to reduce its price. It’s also expected to be handheld only unlike the original hybrid console. On the other side, we have a “Pro” model to look out for at the event which is rumored to be packed with more powerful hardware.

Switch owners should keep coming back to this new site during the event to hear first about new game announcements, features and possibly about the console’s new version.
