Sekiro Shadow Die Twice Hirata Estate

Hirata Estate in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is an optional area that you can explore to find secrets. To unlock Hirata Estate, you need to talk to Inosuke Nogami’s mother in Ashina Outskirts. She will give you the Young Lord’s Bell Charm.

Take it back to the Dilapidated Temple and talk to the Sculptor to learn how to use it. You basically need to offer it to the nearby Kind-Faced Buddha. Interact with the Buddha and you will be teleported to Sekiro Hirata Estate.

Dragonspring

You will wake up at the Dragonspring in Hirata Estate. Interact with the Hirata Estate Sculptor’s Idol nearby and grapple your way down until you are the ground level.

There will be a dying Shinobi nearby with whom you can talk. After that, move down the bridge you will encounter a bandit holding a torch with another one nearby. Cross the bridge to gain entry to the Hirata Estate since the gate is closed.

Estate Path

You do not really need to engage with the enemies near the closed gate. Just grapple up to the main gate. Inside, there will be an Estate Path Sculptor’s Idol.

From the idol, follow the path until you reach a door which will be locked and you need to find another way to get inside. Make no mistake; enemies in this area do not fight fair as they have torches and fire arrows.

Go to the right and through the broken wall and kill the enemies on the other side. You will also find a “Flame Vent” Prosthetic Tool upgrade at the campfire.

From the campfire, make your way the slope until you get to a crossroad. Go to the left and open the locked door for the shortcut but you need to go to the right as it’s the main path.

You need to cross the bridge but shielded enemies guard it. However, the shields are not just for show as they make it frustrating for you to kill these enemies.

You can use the Shinobi Axe of the Monkey to destroy their shields. Kill your way through and eventually you will come face to face with mini-boss Shinobi Hunter Enshin of Misen.

The Shinobi Hunter Enshin of Misen will not be alone as there will be archers and bandits in the area. Make sure to lure the bandits away and then kill them.

As for the archers, use the bushes to stealth kill them before you go fight the Shinobi Hunter Enshin of Misen. If the mini-boss sees you, just run back from where you came until he loses the sight of you.

Hide in the tall grass and move towards the mini-boss and stealth attack him to take away some of its health. Moreover, Mikiri Counter skill will come in handy while dealing with Shinobi Hunter Enshin of Misen as this one uses a Thrust Attack.

Once you defeat the mini-boss, you will be rewarded with Prayer Bead.

Bamboo Thicket Slope & Burning Village

After you beat the mini-boss, interact with the Bamboo Thicket Slope Idol, follow the path up to cross the bridge, and come across the Burning Village. The path to the Burning Village is not an easy one. You will face archers and bandits along the way.

At the Burning Village, speak with The Great Shinobi Owl and he will give you a “Hidden Temple Key”. The place will burst into flames and you need to grapple to the only tree there.

Ahead will be a Grappling Hook section using the lighted shrines that you need to do until you reach solid ground. As you reach to the ground, go to the right to a small house.

There is a graveyard on the other side of the house. You need to kill your way through the graveyard and come across a cave. Enter the cave and look out for the bandits to the right.

You then need to wall jump up to the well and you will be out of the Burning Village and in the Main Hall.

Juzou the Drunkard Mini-Boss

Interact with the Main Hall Sculptor’s Idol and push forward. Keep moving until you reach a large pond.

Take care of the archers and cross the pond. On the other side, you will face mini-boss named Juzou the Drunkard.

Juzou the Drunkard is a relatively tough enemy. While you can take it head on, there is a way to make this encounter a bit easy. Before you engage the mini-boss, go to the building to the left, kill the enemies, and stand on the porch.

Juzou the Drunkard will see you and will come towards you while the other enemies will not. You can lure the mini-boss away for a one-on-one fight. In addition, there is a friendly samurai on the right when you exit the pond that will help you fight.

Juzou the Drunkard likes to apply poison on to his sword or take swigs. While he is doing it, the mini-boss is vulnerable so land some blows. This enemy also tends to palm strike or leg drop to deal some damage.

You also need to be careful when he puts his palm back as he will perform either two quick attacks or a single attack that deals massive damage.

Dodge, wait for the opportune moment and make use of the friendly Samurai to defeat this mini-boss. When this enemy is dead, you will be rewarded with Unrefined Sake, a Prayer Bead, and the entrance to the main building.

Lady Butterfly Boss Fight

As you enter, you will find some NPCs. You can also interact with Hirata Audience Chamber Idol. Follow the corridor down while facing enemies along the way.

Eventually, you will come to a door that you need to unlock using the Hidden Temple Key you acquired earlier. After opening the door, Lady Butterfly boss fight.

Lady Butterfly has two phases despite having only one health bar. When you kill her once, she gets back up and you need to kill her again. Not only that, but Lady Butterfly’s Posture Recovery is very fast.

Therefore, you need to lower her health until her Posture Meter is completely red and deal Posture Damage that will not regenerate.

You need to be very careful while tackling this boss. In the second phase, she will summon illusions that you can just avoid by running around and wait for them to de-spawn or you can use the Snap Seed to de-spawn them.

Once you defeat her, you will receive her Memory that you can use to upgrade Attack Strength.
