Ubisoft has now addressed The Division 2’s skill bug in its recent server maintenance which took place on March 18. As reported on Ubisoft forums, Massive Entertainment has identified and rectified “several issues” that were causing this problem.
However, the team advises everyone to wait until the next patch which is scheduled to arrive later this week and will fix the remaining bug related issues. The post reads, “Until then you can try to avoid the talents EXTRA and OVERLAP which seem to be the culprit and can cause skills to act up even after maintenance, albeit still much less often.”
This bug was reported by many and impacted the length of skills and their cooldowns. As seen on Reddit, this bug in The Division 2 caused skills to disappear in a short period of time (15 seconds to be exact) once activated. This is not a rare issue as many replied to the thread on Reddit by reporting the same issue. Some reports tell us that the bug affected Shields, Drones, Turrets, and Hives other than just skills.
If you are still facing issues then make sure to report them to the developers so they can get fixed in the upcoming update. Apart from that, check out our beginners guide here if you are still struggling in The Divison 2 without any apparent bugs.
Despite the problems above, the latest entry in The Division series has turned out to be successful as it continues to receive positive reviews from the players. The game currently has a score of 81 on Metacritic and a user score of 7.7 which is never bad for an online action role-playing game.
In related news, players can now track the game’s statistics, ranks and more on the site here. All you are required to submit is your username or Gamertag. PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Ubisoft Play platforms are supported for now. The tracker site shows us total playtime, PvE stats, Dark Zone stats, and different kill types.
With the game now released, data miners are actively looking into the game files and their recent discovery has revealed us some interesting information about the Operation Dark Hours. It’s going to be the first eight-person raid in the series.
Not only that, the trophy and achievements related to the raid have been also leaked. Do take it all with a grain of salt until we get to know about the raid officially from the developers.
It’s going to take a while for the developers to overcome issues and bugs since the game just got released. Until then, continue playing The Division 2 as it’s now available on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4.
