This Resident Evil 2 Remake Solid Snake mod lets you play as the original Stealth master. Solid Snake. The low polygon version of Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series is heading to Resident Evil 2 Remake through a new mod.
Plus we can finally have Mr. X in a thong chase down low polygon Solid Snake. The new mod surely pushes this game one step closer to a game of the year.
You’ll find the mod here and well it only works on PC so apologies to console players. If you’re struggling to install it, the link does a good job at explaining how. I’ll still try to summarize it for anyone else out there who’s like me and struggles with these things.
You’ll want to get Fluffy’s mod manager, it’s easy to use the client to attach these mods to the game. Once you do that, simply copy the unextracted mod file into the mod manager folder. Specifically, you’ll want to copy it in the Resident Evil 2 remake folder.
After doing that, launch the manager and enable the now visible mod. Then simply launch the game from the manager. Of course, I shouldn’t have to add that this mod does conflict with other visual mods swapping the same character. Have fun!
On the topic of mods, there’s also a really neat first-person mod for those of you that thoroughly enjoyed the Resident Evil 7 experience. This mod is more of a camera position so it’s not too optimized but it’s definitely worth a try.
Capcom really is on fire with Monster Hunter World, Resident Evil 2 remake and now Devil May Cry 5. Let’s hope they continue to burn bright.
