Respawn Entertainment promises to reveal new information about Apex Legends Season 1 Battle Pass and the next Legend very soon. The first season arrived yesterday but was pulled back immediately leaving everyone confused.
A representative of Respawn revealed the information above while also discussing the game’s recent leaks and details. He suggests everyone to take this datamined information with a grain of salt as there might be some information inside which is too old or something they once considered.
Respawn community manager said:
There’s lots of stuff that has been datamined from Apex since launch and is swirling around the Internet. We know this stuff is fun to dig up and speculate about, but you should not treat any of that info as a source of truth. There’s stuff in there that is very old, or things we’ve tried in the past and cut. Remember, our design process is to prototype and play lots of ideas, and some of it may be things we’re still building for Apex Legends.
In short, the data-mined new Legend called Octane might not turn out to be the latest character in Apex Legends.
Finding this stuff by no means confirms that it’ll ever come out. At best you should treat any posts about this as a rumor and the real info will come from us when we’re ready to show off what’s coming next. Thank you to everyone for staying patient through this and hang tight. We’re excited to get Season 1 kicked off and having you grinding on that Battle Pass with a new Legend to master soon.
It’s interesting to see the developer talking about data mining and referring to it as fun but they have nothing to worry about as things change a lot.
From what’s confirmed, the battle pass will bring a new Legend, set of cosmetic items ranging from weapon to Legend skins and more.
This all comes right after Origin’s landing page brought us an image of upcoming Legend along with new details about the battle pass. The page mentioned the new Legend called Octone along with new weapons and unique loot. As listed on the page, Battle pass is going to cost you 950 Apex Coins which is going to cost you around $10.
Apex Legends has turned out to be a massive success for EA and Respawn both. With the game being out for less than 2 months, it has managed to achieve a player count of over 50 million players which is another big achievement for the team.
We hope to hear more about Apex Legends’ Battle Pass soon and we will make sure to update you soon as hear it so stay tuned to our site.
