EA Claims Anthem PS4 Crashing Issues Aren’t Killing Consoles, Fix Coming

In wake of the recent bugs, BioWare will be finally fixing their mess in the upcoming week with a new Anthem patch. Anthem has received quite a bit of bashing for its bugs ever since its release. From the game’s major graphical downgrade, an unbalanced weapon level system, all the way to the game downright crashing the whole PS4, Anthem can’t seem to catch a break.

Players have been desperate for BioWare to fix their mess. The good news is that BioWare will be releasing a patch next week.
Chad Robertson, Head of Live Service at BioWare said on Twitter that when BioWare reviewed the problem themselves, they didn’t see one instance where the game bricked a PS4 console.

He said that there is no danger of damaging the whole console with the game crashing issue and this will be fixed somewhere within the next week.

After thourogh review, we have not encountered an instance where Anthem has bricked a PS4 console. If you are experiencing anything different, please reach out to @EAHelp so can track the incident and investigate. Thanks for your patience.

With all these issues rolling out with the game, it is clear that BioWare is desperately working to fix these issues.
Players are majorly disappointed with the game, some players are boycotting, others are simply patiently waiting for the patch.

Now it is very likely that Anthem will be seeing a drop in its player base with The Division 2 releasing next week and Devil May Cry 5 coming out on Friday. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
