The Next Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Kast Will Bring Kano Gameplay And A New Character

Similar to how Injustice 2 did it, Mortal Kombat 11 showcases characters in exclusive previews called Kombat Kasts. We’ve had reveals like Jade among others in different Kombat Kasts. Regarding the upcoming one, a Reddit thread revealed that we’ll be seeing gameplay of Kano, as well as a new Mortal Kombat 11 character reveal.

We received the confirmation for Kano a while back but in the form of official screenshots rather than a video preview. This means we haven’t seen gameplay from the crazy Australian mercenary yet. That’s going to change once this upcoming Kombat Kast is released.

The other part of the response from the Netherrealm Studios official was of another character reveal. Who could that be?

The guessing pool can be narrowed down by all these roster leaks we’ve been getting. I’m putting my money on it being Erron Black. The Outworld gunslinger with a frozen aging process.

We’ve seen screenshots of him, as well as an abbreviation of what could be his name in Steam screenshots. He’s also only made his debut in Mortal Kombat X so he’s a fresh character in everybody’s minds. It would be a slight letdown if he’s not the character reveal in the upcoming Kombat Kast.

Who else would we like to see in MK 11? Frost was also in the leaked images among others in the roster. She’s a female Lin Quei who’s presence in Mortal Kombat X was just in cutscenes and dialogue references.

She hasn’t been a playable character since 2011 so it’d be refreshing to see MK 11 bring her back. You could say it’d be cool of them. Get it?

Besides what we can go on by evidence and rumors. My personal pick for who I want to be revealed is Mileena, the Tarkatan-Edinian hybrid. Not only because she’s my favorite MK girl but also to fill the third spot in the Edinian Trinity. The trinity consisting of Jade, Kitana, and Mileena.

We’ll know soon enough. Mortal Kombat 11 releases in April 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A Nintendo Switch date is yet to be announced.
