Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Reveal Set for April at Star Wars Celebration Event

The long-awaited Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by Respawn will be revealed in April at this year’s Star Wars Celebration event in Chicago. The announcement comes from the latest episode of The Star Wars Show and website.

At Star Wars Celebration event 2019, we will get an exclusive first look at Respawn’s version of Star Wars game during a special panel on Saturday, April 13. The special panel will bring us the never before heard information about the game ahead of its release in fall 2019. The game’s story is about “a Padawan who survived Order 66” and it takes “in the time after the fall of the Jedi Order”.

It’s still not clear what we will actually get to see about the game at the event but keeping the game’s release in mind, gameplay trailer is a must. It’s not a piece of surprising news as EA has used the same event in the past to reveal new Star Wars titles.

That’s not all as other Star Wars games like Galaxy of Heroes, Star Wars Pinball and The Old Republic will be also present at the event.

Previous rumors of the game tell us that it’s going to release sometime in November and the story takes place after the events of 2005’s Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. Respawn Entertainment has announced in the past that the game’s story takes place between Episodes 3 and 4.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson has already played the preview build of the game and it plays very well according to him.

It’s very far along in development and having spent time with it recently myself, it plays spectacularly well. This game truly captures the fantasy of becoming a Jedi, and we will have a lot more to share soon.

Moreover, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen is also very impressed with the game as he called Jedi Fallen Order an exceptional game. Keeping the statements of both in mind, upcoming months will be filled with details about the upcoming game including trailers and maybe a demo.

Despite all that, fans are very skeptical about the upcoming game. Following the cancellation of Project Orca, EA calmed down all the fans by confirming that they will continue to work on Star Wars games. Many wanted Disney to revoke the license from Electronic Arts but it’s not going to happen as the company is very happy with their current relationship.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will release on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4.
