Mortal Kombat 11 Jade Gameplay Trailer Revealed – She’s Back!

First off, I’m gonna say that I called it. Secondly, I’m gonna say that I am SO STOKED for this reveal. We all missed her from Mortal Kombat X after her last appearance in MK9. But now, we officially have a Mortal Kombat 11 Jade gameplay trailer! P.S: Thank you, NetherRealm Studios.

She looks absolutely stunning as always. Even for a revenant which is basically a zombie!

I know I’m being a fanboy right now but we are all very excited to see a character that’s been absent for so many years finally return. Not just that, but also in a spectacular fashion!

She does retain a lot of her abilities from the previous Mortal Kombat games. Specifically her kit of razor blades and a staff. The staff being used for blunt hits, ranged attacks, and even mobility. She also brings back her manipulatable throwing blades that she can curve in mid-air.

Most likely an enhanced ability of sorts. Not only that, but she also boasts her purple aura that we’re familiar with from Mortal Kombat 9. Including her ability to zoom across the screen with a sliding kick, and phase through attacks. Two defensive moves that were showcased included a parry special move, as well as a projectile deflect.

Jade’s amazing fatal move was also showcased alongside some X-ray maneuvers. Mostly they involved her kit of course, but the creative use of her throwing razors was quite intriguing.

Finally, her fatality was truly beautiful. Using her staff to gouge poor Baraka’s eye put from the back of his skull. After which she sliced off his mid-section to have the body hang limp on the staff. Twirling with an epic slow-mo shot.

Her outro also showcased in a way similar to Kabal and every other MK 11 character, being taken from Injustice 2’s style. Except her slow-mo shot was accompanies by a silky giggle that definitely made me feel things. Fear, excitement, and something I can’t mention here.

Exciting news to go with the confirmation of Kabal and D’vorrah in the game as well. NetherRealm studios have truly outdone themselves with this Mortal Kombat 11 Jade gameplay trailer.
