Ubisoft has sparked some hope for the fans of Assassin’s Creed 3 on Nintendo Switch by listing the remaster for Nintendo’s latest platform on its official site. There isn’t yet an official announcement by Ubisoft Montreal, but does the listing mean that AC remastered is coming to Nintendo’s latest video game console?
Interestingly, the mention of Nintendo Switch has now been removed from Assassin’s Creed 3 page on the official site. Thanks to Vooks for capturing it before it was removed.
Rumors for a Switch version have been circulating on the internet for some time now. Last month, Assassin’s Creed 3 + Liberation Collection was listed by a European retailer named Herni-svet with a price tag of 35 EURO. According to the retailer, the game was set to launch on February 15, 2019, a month earlier than its official release date on other platforms. Do take it all with a grain of salt as it could turn out to be nothing more than an error.
Apart from Switch, it’s confirmed that Assassin’s Creed 3 Remaster is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. AC 3 originally released in 2012 for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U. There wasn’t any huge demand for it by the fans as many wanted it to be the first Assassins Creed in the series which I personally believe would have been a better choice.
The game is now confirmed to release on March 29, 2019. You can get Assassin’s Creed 3 Remaster absolutely free if you are an Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass holder. If you are done with AC Odyssey then grabbing the remaster is the best choice for the t.
AC 3 Odyssey includes all of the content that was ever released for the game including Benedict Arnold Missions, Hidden Secrets Pack, Tyranny of King Washington (all episodes: The Infamy, The Betrayal, The Redemption) and Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered full game.
The remaster will bring 4K and HDR to PC, Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and 1080p resolution for standard console models.
