Apex Legends Weapons Guide – Weapons Tier List, Best Weapons, Damage, Attachment Slots

There is no survival without some action and violence involved, as is the case with the latest Battle Royale game from Respawn Entertainment, Apex Legends.

In our Apex Weapons Guide, we will be discussing everything from the possible locations of the weapons to the damage potential and stats of each individual firearm so you can head into every battle with sound knowledge and understanding of how the weapons work and how they can be used for tactical advantage.

Apex Legends Weapons

When you first roll into battle, just as the case for any battle royale game, you will start with nada. That is right, absolutely nothing! This is when you will need to roam the battlefield in search of the weapons.

Though locations for these weapons are still being discovered at this point, it is known that the loot crates at such destinations are fixed. However, as per the tradition, the loot or equipment inside these chests will be random.

Furthermore, there is another way of obtaining these weapons though it is the less consistent of the two.

This method relies more on chance and luck since you will essentially be waiting for the crate to spawn or coming across one randomly generated in a building.

Each weapon belongs to a certain well-defined and conventional classes that we have come to expect from many shooters.

These are Submachine Guns (SMGs) Assault Rifles, Light Machine Guns (LMGs), Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, and Pistols categories with each class bringing something different in terms of damage potential, firerate, range, attachments, and accuracy.

Pistols

Mozambique Shotgun: Triple-Barrel Shotgun Pistol
This weapon shotgun is a bizarre hybrid between a pistol and a shotgun.

Although it is good for close-quarter combat and the damage potential, the capacity of three shells means you will be reloading frequently and often leave yourself open for an attack.

Best Weapons in APEX Legends

Although every weapon presents different opportunities and is suited to different circumstances, but there are simply ones that excel above the rest overall when it comes to the crucial stats of damage, range, firerate, and accuracy.

Pistol
Wingman resembles a Desert Eagle in all its own glory, with 6 high-caliber bullets. One calculated shot at the head region could chip off 90 HP of the enemy’s health bar.

Shotgun
It would be foolish to go with a shotgun other than the Legendary Weapon, Mastiff. The 8 pellets per shot, all are projected in a single horizontal line.

If you manage to land them all on the opponent, boy oh boy, you will be inflicting astounding damage of 288 HP.

Assault Rifle
The VK-47 Flatline is our top pick in this category simply because of the heavy rounds it uses. With a generous 20 bullets per mag, the damage is exceptional too with every round dealing 16 HP normally and twice that on headshot.

Sub-Machine Gun
The Prowler Burst PDW supports a 5-burst fire round which is just as satisfying to land as powerful it’s for putting down the enemy with a high fire-rate. Land all 5 bullets to perform up to 105 damage.

Sniper Rifle
Another Legendary Weapon, the Kraber 0.5-CAL comes with a scope up to 10x magnification, land one single hit with a careful aim, and see 250 HP whittle away from your opponent’s vitality.

Light-Machine Gun
When we say there is not a single fault with the M600 Spitfire, we mean that. Apart from the legendary weapons in the game, this might be the top choice for your go-to weapon in almost all scenarios.

With decent fire-rate, solid damage, quick reload times and little recoil, the Spitfire allows you to use 35 heavy rounds with max 45 damage associated with each bullet.
