Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order leak is comparing its gameplay to Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. Through a post on Reddit, some important details about Jedi Fallen Order were leaked courtesy of a developer.

The plot is Star Wars canon and the basics of the story are already revealed by Respawn Entertainment. The story is set somewhere around the events of Star Wars Episode 3 and 4. The story takes place after the initiation of Order 66 which declares all Jedi traitors of the Galactic Empire.

The new Star Wars game will feature a better story compared to Star Wars Battlefront 2. The lead character of Jedi Fallen Order a backpack companion droid. Moreover, the gameplay design is being compared to Dark Souls and Shadows Die Twice. The player will wield a lightsaber and mastering perry will help in battle, similar to Shadows Die Twice. Players will control a pre-made male protagonist.

The inspiration for Jedi Fallen Order is Knights of the Old Republic and The Force Unleashed. The story is longer than 5-hours and is an extension of the Star Wars lore.

The upcoming Star Wars game is a semi-linear experience which is not entirely open world yet not so linear too.

There is a possibility of wall-running and parkour. Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is aesthetically similar to Rogue One and Solo but will also use prequel flairs. Respawn isn’t using Frostbite to develop the game instead, the studio is working with Unreal Engine 4.

Respawn Entertainment used Source engine to develop Titanfall 2 while BioWare used the dreaded Frostbite to create Anthem. It is great to see EA hasn’t forced Respawn to use Frostbite to develop Fallen Order.

Jedi Fallen Order gameplay design needs an engine like Unreal Engine 4 which developers can use to create a proper Star Wars game without hiccups.

Jedi Fallen Order release date is scheduled for holiday 2019. The game will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through EA Origin. Fallen Order reveal event is this Saturday.

This year is going to be amazing for Star Wars as we are not only getting a new game but Star Wars movie is coming out as well. Star Wars 9 trailer will drop in the coming weeks. The movie itself will release in Holiday 2019.
