Shaggy and Fred From Scooby Doo Have Arrived in Red Dead Redemption 2

You might be tired of the trending Shaggy memes but it’s the reason why he’s now in Red Dead Redemption 2 along with Fred Jones. A Red Dead Online player has done a great job to make the most out of character creation in the game by bringing Shaggy into the West-World.

A Reddit user posted an image of Shaggy and Fred riding the mystery machine in 1898. You can check out the picture below. It’s good to see players making the full use of online character creation in RDR 2 Online by bringing their favorite characters.

Shaggy RDR 2

The whole Shaggy Rogers craze started recently when a fan started a petition on Change.Org to bring the kid-friendly character from Scooby-Doo in MK11.

The petition currently has got over 329,160 signatures and the next target is to reach 500,000 which looks very much possible. It all got further interesting when NetherRealm took notice. It didn’t take long for Ed Boon to respond by fueling the fire of now-famous Shaggy meme which is now trending on the internet. In short, there’s not a yes or no from him yet which makes us think that eventually, he will arrive in the game.

It is definitely a possibility to see Shaggy in Mortal Kombat 11 as we have already seen many different guest characters in Mortal Kombat series. In Mortal Kombat XL, we saw characters like Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Anything can happen.

Warner Bros. the publisher currently holds the rights to Scooby-Doo franchise and NetherRealm Studios so things look pretty easy if they ever decide to bring any characters to the game. Maybe Fred too? We will have to wait as possibilities are endless.

Personally, I think that the developers should give the players what they want in MK11 and that’s Shaggy for now. We are expecting to see him in some form whether it’s a skin or short appearance in the story mode.

To witness it all, we will have to wait till April 23, 2019, when Mortal Kombat releases on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
