Free-to-Play Battle-Royale Titanfall Announcement Coming Today, Up To 60 Players And More Details

Reportedly, today a new free-to-play Battle-Royale Titanfall will be announced titled Titanfall Apex Legends. Will feature up to 60 players and more.

Titanfall series might not be as big as Battlefield or Call of Duty but it is one of the best FPS franchises out there. Reportedly, today a new free-to-play Battle-Royale Titanfall will be announced.

The leak comes from Youtuber “TheQuartering” who claims that an insider revealed a lot of information about the upcoming game. According to the report, the upcoming Battle-Royale Titanfall game will be announced by big streamers like Shroud and Dr DisRespect.

Not only that, the game will be revealed on Monday, February 4, 2019, and will be playable right away. The game is titled Titanfall Apex Legends and is part of the on-going Titanfall series.

Furthermore, the free-to-play Titanfall Apex Legends will be a cross between Call of Duty Blackout and Rainbow Six Siege. Here is the full TLDW of the entire leak.

  • Free-to-play Titanfall game.
  • Will be a Battle-Royale title and will be revealed by big steamers like Shroud.
  • The game is titled Titanfall Apex Legends and is part of the Titanfall series.
  • Different feel than previous games despite being in the same universe.
  • Will be a Cross between Black Ops 4 Blackout and Rainbow Six Siege.
  • 3-player teams will play against each other with p to 60 players.
  • Each player in the team will have a role to balance things out.
  • Will come with micro-transactions(no surprise there).
  • In-game currency is easy to earn.
  • Over 5 characters will be available at launch with two characters being purchasable with in-game currency.

However, these are not the only details the Youtuber had but, he refrained from revealing too much. If the game is announced today then the leak is indeed true. Until then, take it with a grain of salt.

This leak regarding the free-to-play Battle-Royale Titanfall game loosely falls in line with a previous rumor that Respawn will launch Titanfall 3 in 2019.

There is a possibility that a separate team might be working on Titanfall 3, a proper sequel to Titanfall 2. But this is just speculation till Electronic Arts announces the game.

Furthermore, this free-to-play Titanfall Apex Legends is launching the same month as Bioware’s upcoming Anthem. As both are multiplayer games, EA might be looking at cannibalizing of the player base for one these two games.

Both Bioware and Respawn Entertainment has a reputation for developing quality games, excluding the Mass Effect Andromeda. It remains to be seen how will it play out.

Titanfall is a first-person action shooter franchise developed by Respawn Entertainment for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
