Another Klassic Character Joins The Fight, Kano Revealed For Mortal Kombat 11

Netherrealm studios recently revealed a first look at Kano in Mortal Kombat 11, as well as a customized variation of him using the in game customization.

Seeing as how the story is focused on time travel, it only makes sense that we see a lot of classic characters in the upcoming MK 11. This includes the recent confirmation of Kano for Mortal Kombat 11. We can’t have Sonya Blade in the game without the man she’s after, right? Not in that sense, by the way, I mean she wants to arrest him, you get the point.

Don’t believe me? Here are some screenshots that Netherrealm Studios themselves officially revealed to us:

I’d probably rather not talk about that second image…but it definitely is a good showcase of the customization MK 11 has to offer.

Just for the record, this reaffirms The Mortal Kombat 11 roster leak we shared a couple of days ago, which confirmed Kano in it. Although to be fair, it’s also not hard to second guess this since he’s from the original Mortal Kombat. Just like his other fellow MK 1 kombatants, Kano hasn’t failed to appear in every Mortal Kombat video game to this day.

There’s a good reason he’s as popular as he is. How many things can you think of that are scarier than an Australian maniac alone? Now on top of that, we’ve given him cybernetic enhancements and an array of blade using weapons. That’s basically asking for trouble.

He looks much younger than he was in Mortal Kombat X. This probably has to do with all that jazz about Kronika and time travel. I like this reimagining of the original Kano from Mortal Kombat 1. Very excited to see how he looks alongside Johnny Cage who is as of right now, the only Mortal Kombat 1 character that we haven’t seen in MK 11 yet.

The Mortal Kombat 11 release date is set for 23rd April this year. With the Nintendo Switch variant being delayed in some place.

20 year old Chaotic Neutral. I love me some Gwent. Linking the flame is for pussies though. Also the true Mortal Kombatant that remains unbeaten. I love single player games with a compelling story and ...
