Fans aren’t happy with Deep Silver moving Metro Exodus PC to Epic Store and making it a timed exclusive. Despite that, those who pre-ordered the game will receive a Steam key. However, those who pre-ordered the Physical version of Metro Exodus on PC will get an Epic Store key and fans aren’t happy about it
The developers made the announcement through Metro Exodus Twitter account. The response from fans to this news is not a positive one. Many have expressed disappointment over Epic store key being bundled with Metro Exodus PC physical pre-orders.

However, those who digitally pre-ordered the game through the Humble Bundle will receive a Steam key. Now, this creates confusion that if Deep Silver can provide a Steam key for digital pre-orders then why not for the physical pre-orders.

Following the move to the Epic Store, Valve released a statement saying that the move is unfair to Steam customers.
This is another big PC release being made exclusive to Epic Games Store following The Division 2. There is no doubt that Epic Games is in full swing to take on Valve. It’s going to be interesting to see how Valve responds to these exclusivity deals.
Also, Metro Exodus will feature multiple ending depending on player actions. According to devs, players will receive the ending they deserve. This indicates that player choice will be integral to the game’s story.
You play the game the way you want to play. You can be whatever character you want to be. You can react to the world however you like. But, ultimately, there will be consequences for the choices you make. There is no right ending and there is no wrong ending. As our creative director says “You will get the ending that you deserve.
Metro Exodus is a first-person survival game in development at 4A Games. The game is scheduled to release on February 15, 2019, for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
