Assassin’s Creed 3 originally launched in 2012 and it was clearly a rushed game. There was a slew of issues with the game including invisible walls, low FPS and more. With the remaster, Ubisoft wants to correct its past mistakes. It remains to be seen how well Ubisoft handles the upcoming remaster.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the latest entry in the franchise. While the game itself was well received but, the Legacy of the First Blade episode 2 ending was criticized for taking away player choice.

In the aftermath of the criticism, Ubisoft issued an apology. Not only that, Ubisoft is now working to fix the DLC ending and will soon release a patch that will fix the ending.

Reading through player responses of our new DLC for Legacy of the First Blade, Shadow Heritage, we want to extend an apology to players disappointed by a relationship your character partakes in. The intention of this story was to explain how your character’s bloodline has a lasting impact on the Assassins, but looking through your responses it is clear that we missed the mark.

Assassin’s Creed 3 remaster is an open-world stealth action game in development at Ubisoft for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Currently, the remaster is part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass and won’t be sold separately.
