First Black Ops 4 Respawn Mode in Blackout Arrives, Could Be a Risky Move

Treyarch has done a great job to make fans of the battle royale genre to try out their Blackout mode in Black Ops 4. There’s a good amount of Blackout players right now and to make things more interesting, Treyarch has brought a new respawn mode in Black Ops 4 Blackout called Down But Not Out.

Treyarch is taking some risks like Fortnite and other games by bringing in new limited time game modes. This respawn mode in Black Ops 4 Blackout twists things up by only allowing quads to take part in this modified version of the mode.

This Black Ops 4 Blackout respawn mode called Down But Not Out arrived on January 16th exclusively for PS4 players and will last till January 30. Rules for this respawn mode are simple as it allows the whole team to resurrect if at least one of the member survives until the next “collapse” which is when the map shrinks. So all you have to do is to survive till the next collapse to bring all your friends back who just died. This respawn mode in Black Ops 4 Blackout allows you to come back and stay in the game for longer.

These changes make the game quite more interesting but also shift it away from original rules of the battle royale. Though don’t worry if you just want to play the standard quads mode as it’s still going to be available. This “Down But Not Out” mode in Black Ops 4 Blackout is currently only available on PS4 as part of the deal between Activision and Sony. Xbox One and PC players will most likely get to try it in the next week.

This Down But Not Out also arrives in time for those who are trying Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout for free with a limited time trial. If you are interested to try out Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout for free, you can sign up for the trial today. This Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout free trial is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Though keep in mind that this free Blackout trial lasts till January 24 so hurry up.

On the other hand, Treyarch is being reported for shaming Black Ops 4 players that don’t own the season pass. Treyarch has brought a new system with the latest Black Ops 4 update which now outlines every player without the season pass. You will now see everyone with a triangle sign in lobbies indicating that they are the reason your match is not starting. This will also result in players sending hate to each other so we don’t get why Treyarch really did this.

Instead of this implementation, Treyarch should give away some free maps like Raid and Hijacked in multiplayer. Treyarch has also done a terrible job to make players happy by offering skins for money or 15 hours of grind. Well until then we at least know that Treyarch is working on a new Stash UI for consoles.

Black Ops 4 is now available to play on Xbox One, PC and PS4.
