Aside from announcing its mid-range Geforce RTX 2060 at CES 2019, Nvidia also revealed its full lineup of RTX 20 mobility GPUs. Not only that, it quite expansive with a total of 40 laptops featuring Nvidia RTX 20 Mobility and 17 of them are based on Max-Q variants.
According to Nvidia, 40 new laptops with over 100 different configurations will be available next month. These gaming laptops with features Nvidia RTX 20 mobility GPUs.
Nvidia RTX 20 mobility GPU lineup includes the RTX 2080, RTX 2070 and RTX 2060.
These GPUs will comes in standard Turing variants and Max-Q variants. As for the release date, these gaming laptops with Nvidia RTX 20 Mobility GPUs will release on January 29, 2019.
More than 40 new laptop models in 100-plus configurations will be available later this month. They will be powered by NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX GPUs, which fuse the performance of next-generation shaders with real-time ray tracing and AI to blur the line between movies and gaming with cinematic-quality rendering.
“Laptops are the fastest growing gaming platform — and just getting started,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, who introduced the lineup at the start of the annual CES tradeshow. “The world’s top OEMs are using Turing to bring next-generation console performance to thin, sleek laptops that gamers can take anywhere. Hundreds of millions of people worldwide — an entire generation — are growing up gaming. I can’t wait for them to experience this new wave of laptops.”
Turing-based laptops will be available across the GeForce RTX family — from RTX 2080 through RTX 2060 GPUs.
As for the Nvidia RTX 20 Mobility GPU specs, well Nvidia refrained from revealing them. However, once these laptops are released we will know the specifications of these latest Nvidia Mobility GPUs.
Furthermore, these Nvidia RTX 2060, RTX 2070, RTX 2080 mobility GPUs come with support for WhisperMode, Nvidia Battery Boost, and Nvidia G-SYNC.
Nvidia Battery Boost allows for 2x battery life. Nvidia G-SYNC allows these gaming Laptop GPUs to support tear-free gameplay for up to 144 Hz display.
As I mentioned above, Nvidia at CES 2019 also announced the $349 Geforce RTX 2060 GPU. Interestingly, this mid-range GPU beats the high-end GTX 1070 Ti. But that’s not all, as the RTX 2060 is 60% faster than the GTX 1060.

Nvidia announced that purchase of any RTX 20 series GPUs, including RTX 2060, RTX 2080 and RTX 2070, will get a free copy of Anthem or Battlefield 5.
