Xbox Game Pass Adds Life Is Strange 2 And ARK: Survival Evolved

Rejoice, fans of the two aforementioned games and owners of Xbox Pass. Since the Xbox Game Pass games have added Life is Strange 2 and ARK: Survival Evolved to their strong ongoing roster. Also worth mentioning that the Xbox Game Pass price remains $9.99.

The Xbox Games Pass is a Netflix of sorts but for Xbox gamers. Being a monthly subscription-based service that hosts a list of games that players can freely play for the duration of their subscription. Originally, The Xbox Game Pass games were only available to those that had an Xbox Gold subscription. That’s changed now since the subscription is available to the general public itself.

It is worth noting, however, that you still do need an Xbox Gold membership to be able to access the online/multiplayer content of the games that you get with the Xbox Games Pass.

The Xbox Game Pass price amounts to $9.99 a month for access to any game granted during the time of that subscription being active. This includes older triple-A titles like Mortal Kombat X and even newer ones like Sea of Thieves.

Specifically, let’s look at the two newest additions to the Xbox Game Pass games, Life is Strange 2 and ARK: Survival Evolved.

Life is Strange 2 is an episodic, graphic adventure that is played from a third person perspective. The gameplay features a decision making aspect that causes branching out storylines which then lead to different outcomes.

The second installment in the Life is Strange series follows the story of two brothers, Sean and Daniel Diaz. Who are on the run from the police after a sudden supernatural event decimated their home street.

The game currently has one episode that was released on 27th September 2018. With the second episode planned to release onĀ 24th January 2019 2019. So good news for anyone planning to get the Xbox Game Pass this month.

ARK: Survival Evolved, on the other hand, is an open world survival game that can be played from either a first-person or third-person perspective. The game also gives players the option to play on their own or on a multiplayer server.

The game itself revolves around players being stuck on an island with m9dern weaponry, but prehistoric wildlife. Ranging from a different type of dinosaurs to primitive landscapes. The gameplay involves taming and utilizing dinosaurs as either a method of transportation or means of attack/defense.

Both these games are now available at the Xbox Game Pass price of $9.99 per month. Along with others to come later in the future.
