If you were playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey you had two options, either play as Kassandra or choose Alexios. During the playtest, data showed that users played with Kassandra as the split was 50/50, however, that changed when the final game rolled out.
According to director Scott Phillips, the split surprise him. The data after the game’s release showed “two-third Alexios” and “one-third Kassandra.”
Players prefer playing as Alexios rather than Kassandra even though the mo-cap and voice acting is much better with Kassandra.
Alexios and Kassandra are siblings in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey but only Kassandra is canon to the story. Their story is connected as Odyssey is a family drama that unfolds across multiple regions such as Greece and Sparta.
Both Kassandra and Alexios are in the middle of the war and have the power to influence what happens by supporting either one of the regions.
The story will continue beyond the base game through Assassin’s Creed Odyssey DLC. The Legacy of the First Blade is out now and soon, Fate of Atlantic will release as well.
Apart from paid DLCs and Season Pass, players can enjoy free updates that bring new features, modes, and improvements to the game. Assassin’s Creed is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. There is a Ubisoft Winter Sale currently going on which could land you the game from a discounted price.
