Last week Red Dead Online microtransactions went online despite RDR2 Online is still in beta. There is no doubt that Rockstar and Take-Two see Red Dead Online as a big money maker just like GTA Online. Just to fulfill that purpose, gold bars required to unlock everything Red Dead Online costs around $600.
Everything in Red Dead Online can be purchased by playing the game and earning Gold bars. However, you are required to grind a bit to earn these Red Dead Online gold bars.
As of now, players can earn one Red Dead Online gold bar within two hours of gameplay and unlocking everything requires 2,134 gold bars. According to Forbes’ calculations, players need to pay up $600 to unlock everything if they choose to skip the grind.
Rockstar Games offers gold starting from $10 to $100 and the latter one gets you 350 gold bars.
Given that you need 2,134 gold bars to unlock everything, you need to buy at least six 350 gold bar bundles and even that would not be enough. Long story short, you need to pay at least $600 to get unlock everything in Red Dead Online.
Furthermore, given that Red Dead Online is currently in beta, the system could potentially be tweaked. Recently, Rockstar took notice of player feedback regarding the flawed Red Dead Online economy.
According to devs, Red Dead Online economy is the main focus for the studio. The studio admitted that Red Dead Online economy requires additional balancing to make sure the activities are rewarding and fun.
However, don’t expect much changes because like GTA Online the Red Dead Online is meant to make money. Back in 2016, GTA Online made 500 million with microtransactions alone.
This was two years ago and since then the numbers are surely up. I personally don’t see Rockstar making things better in Red Dead Online. So expect the microtransactions and the grind to remain the same.
Speaking of the game, you can exploit the Red Dead Online money glitch to get money.
Just go to Emerald Ranch and kill every animal in the ranch. Sell their sins and then change the server and the animals will respawn.
However, that is not the Red Dead Redemption 2 glitch. There is another glitch in the game that hints at a Red Dead Redemption remake.
However, given that it’s just a glitch take it with a grain of salt. But, if Rockstar is actually remaking RDR then it might launch along with Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world action adventure game developed by Rockstar Games. The game is available for PS4 and Xbox One.
