Destiny 2 Black Armory Volundr Forge
The Volundr Forge can be found if you head to the EDZ. Once the activity is available to you, the exact location of the forge should be marked on the map. If it is not, teleport to the Sunken Isles landing spot and go down the road.
Eventually, you will notice a giant tunnel entrance on your left that you can follow to the chamber.
Once you are at the chamber, go right and enter through the small door. Simply follow this tunnel until you are at the cliff. Turn around and you will be able to see the forge.
How to Complete Volundr Forge
Once you are at the forge, you can start the event by moving to the furnace and interacting with it. You are given an objective to charge the forge. You have a total of 20 radiant batteries and there is a timer that has 60 seconds on it.
Whenever you throw a radiant battery into the furnace, you will get an additional 10 seconds.
Make sure you watch out for enemies that have a blue glow. Whenever you kill one of these enemies, they drop a radiant battery for you. Kill them as soon as they appear so that you have enough time on your hands to complete the forge.
When you complete the Volundr forge event, you will get the Hammerhead legendary machine gun. It has random perks so you might end up with a weapon that is great or a weapon that is above average at best.
With the gun, you can aim down the sights to view various different hidden symbols. No one knows what these symbols may relate to, but people believe that they are tied to the Mysterious Box exotic quest.

Remember to not use your Heavy Ammo, as the drop rate is quite low. The Heavy Weapons should be used against the final boss.
Once you get to the 3rd wave, set up near the jump that you sued to get to the forge. Make sure you have a Well of Radiance so that you can use it to take out the Shield Drones.
Stack up and deal damage to the boss when it appears. The teammate which does not have the Whisper of the Worm should try to take the adds aggro so that the rest of your team can focus on the boss. Soon, you will be able to retrieve the machine gun.
