Back at EA PLAY Respawn awkwardly announced Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, a game that is focused on the story instead of multiplayer. It will be unlike anything we have seen from EA’s Star Wars games so far. After the disaster of Battlefront and Battlefront 2, Jedi Fallen Order is more than welcome.
There wasn’t much known about the game and there still isn’t, at least not officially. Disney recently held a Star Wars event where it discussed major franchise related content coming in 2019. Among them, of course, was Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order release date and plot details. According to leaked information from a Reddit user who attended the event, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order release date is set somewhere in November 2019. Jedi Fallen Order story is set 5-years after the events of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith.
The lead character is named Cal and he is a Padawan who survived the attack on the Jedi Order. During the story mode, Cal will come across various characters from the comics. There are some other notable details, the Redditor mentioned the 2nd and 9th sisters, as well as The Order of The Inquisitors being discussed briefly during the presentation.
In the Star Wars lore, the 9th sister is a female Dowutin who served the Inquisitor during the early stages of the Galactic Empire’s rule. She worked with Darth Vader, the 6th brother, and the 10th Brother. She accompanied them to the planet Mon Cala to find and assassinate an enemy of the Empire.
The Order of the Inquisitors was a group of force sensitive agents who worked for the Empire. They were tasked to hunt down the Jedi who survived Order 66. Disney showed plenty of artwork from the game as well.
Based on this information, it wouldn’t hard to judge that EA will be ready to show gameplay at EA PLAY next year.
