Here’s When Destiny 2 Scourge of the Past Raid Releases, Start Grinding Today

Bungie has finally revealed the release time of Destiny 2’s upcoming new raid called Scourge of the Past. Scourge of the Past Raid will arrive in a few days but it now requires a higher level of light so you will have to start grinding today when Black Armory drops.

Scourge of the Past is going to release in Destiny 2 on December 7. Scourge of the Past Raid will be available to play at 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET. Now if you want to try this Raid, you are required to have a light level of 640.

If you don’t know about Scourge of the Past, it’s set in the Lost City. It’ll be a long raid, Longer than Spire of Stars.

Other than that, the new Destiny 2 update is scheduled to arrive today. This new Destiny 2 update will bring several changes and fixes to the game. This Destiny 2 update also fixes Chaos Reach. Above all, this update marks the arrival of Black Armory DLC in the game.

This Black Armory DLC will be only available to the DLC pass owners of the game. Black Armory DLC update will go live today on December 4 with a server maintenance. This server maintenance starts at 8:30 AM PST. Around 8:30 AM PST, all the servers will go offline and you won’t be able to play the game online.

The update will finish at 9 AM PST along with new update 2.1.1.1 on all platforms including PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This new update will fix many issues of the game including various game crashes.

Bungie has also confirmed that the upcoming Scourge of the Past Raid is a full-fledged raid after players had various questions in mind.

“Lairs were extensions of an existing Raid setting,” Bungie wrote. “Black Armory’s ‘Scourge of the Past’ doesn’t fit that definition. It takes place in a new setting, tells its own story, and isn’t related to the events of the Dreaming City. Destiny Raids have come in many shapes and sizes, from ‘Crota’s End’ to ‘Last Wish’, and ‘Scourge of the Past’ falls within that spectrum.”

Bungie is also giving away some goodies to the players of Destiny 2: Forsaken. These goodies will be available to those who played the game before October 16. This pack is dubbed is called “Veterans of the Hunt” and includes a slider, unique emblem, different two emotes and some consumables.

That’s not all as Bungie is working really hard to improve the overall experience of the game and bring back the fans. Bungie is investigating and they have now also outlined some of the issues they are currently looking into. These issues include Annual pass issues on the Xbox Store, Heavy ammo spawns in Crucible and more.

You have to wait a few hours to get into the area of Black Armory DLC. But it’s now being reported that some players have successfully glitched their way to get inside the DLC exclusive area.

Destiny 2 is now available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
