Red Dead Online Xbox One Connection Issues Fix

Many players of Red Dead Redemption 2 Online on Xbox One have reported that they are unable to play the game online due to some connection issues. This problem persists to be with Xbox One only and Rockstar is aware of the issue. Rockstar has announced that they are going to fix it but we don’t exactly when. Well, luckily there’s a workaround that to make you connect back online on Xbox One.

You can get rid of Red Dead Redemption 2 Online issues by clearing the cache on your system. You can follow the steps below.

  • Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until the Xbox One completely shuts down
  • Once the indicator lights on the front of the Xbox One and the console’s power brick are off, disconnect the power brick from the back of your console.
  • Wait at least 30 seconds
  • Plug the power brick back into your Xbox One and turn it on
  • Boot up the game

This 0x20010006 error in Red Dead Redemption 2 is a result of online server disconnection. This error is probably due to so many people trying to connect to Rockstar servers. This is a common issue so don’t panic and luckily there’s a fix to it.

To fix it, you can close the Red Dead Redemption 2 Online application on Xbox One or PS4. Then try relaunching the game and it will most probably fix the issue for you as reported by many players.
