We are finally getting closer to the release date of Anthem so more information is coming to light every day. Anthem’s executive producer Mark Darrah is revealing a lot of game information through his Twitter account. He recently talked about the Colossus Exosuit which we saw in previous Anthem trailers.
An Anthem fan asked Mark Darrah about this Colossus Exosuit and when it’s going to be unlocked. Mark Darrah revealed that this tank-like Colossus suit in Anthem can be unlocked in less than two hours into the game. If you are good at the game, you can unlock this Colossus Exosuit in an hour.
Now that’s not it as game designer Emily Taylor shared some screenshots to show her customizations on the Colossus Exosuit. BioWare recently held a live stream to showcase the level of customizations in the game. You can customize colors and also for each limb.
As for suits, Anthem is also going to feature Mass Effect’s N7 suit. This was revealed when the director showed us a shining N7 armor. BioWare’s Michael Gamble, lead producer of Anthem was seen celebrating the N7 day.
He shared a codenamed N7 Javelin exo-suit which is going to be available in the game. That’s all we know so we will have to play the game to know how to unlock it all.
As for the Anthem release date, BioWare has denied all the rumors saying that the game will release in February. There have been various rumors telling us that Anthem will not make it on its official release date and get delayed.
Mark Darrah has shut down all Anthem release date rumors so pre-order the game now as we are finally going to get it. Anthem was originally supposed to be released in 2018 but got delayed till 2019.
Those who are members of Origins and EA Access will be able to play the game earlier than others. Anthem Demo will be available for them starting on February 1, 2019, for Xbox One and PC. PS4 players will not be able to try out this but the game is available for pre-order from the PlayStation Store.
EA has now also raised its sales expectations for Anthem. EA now expects a 20% to 25% increase in digital sales. Before that, EA’s early sales forecast was too low.
Andrew mentioned it was getting a lot of positive feedback. We think it’s a fabulous game, and you’ll see a lot more of it to come after we get out of this holiday window into early next year. And I think our original expectations of the game were probably too low, and thus we think that’s important.
The team is also ready to counter toxicity in the game. All of these questions will be finally answered when Anthem rolls out worldwide on February 22, 2019, for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
