NieR: Automata is an action role-playing game developed by Platinum Games and published by Square Enix. NieR: Automata is a sequel to the 2010 video game Nier. The game is a spin-off sequel of the Drakengard Series.

It is set in the midst of a war between machines and the remnants of humanity. The story follows the battles of a combat android along with her companion and a fugitive prototype. NieR: Automata combines role-playing and action-based combat genre similar to that of NieR.

The game released back in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and was exclusive to Microsoft Windows. Later on, it released for Xbox One in June 2018 with some Xbox One X enhancements¬†earlier in 2018. As far as the new Game of YoRHa Edition goes, it isn’ t rated for Xbox One at the time of this writing.

Moreover, NieR: Automata might release for Nintendo Switch¬†at some point. It won’t be far-fetched to think this new edition is the one coming to Nintendo Switch.
