Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Of Light Mode to not Support Co-Op

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate includes a brand new mode called World Of Light. It’s a new adventure mode in Super Smash Bros which is going to keep you busy but it’s not going to be playable with a partner.

It’s now confirmed that you’ll be playing this new World Of Light alone in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This was confirmed by Nintendolife who had the chance to play the game hands on.

World Of Light in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a single player mode and it’s about collecting spirits which you then use to power up different characters from the roster.

This World Of Light mode is going to consist of different challenges. Completing these challenges in the new World Of Light mode will reward you with spirits.

These spirits can be upgraded and will allow you to complete more difficult challenges going further.

In other news, Super Smash Bros Ultimate has gone gold as the development is now over. Game director, Masahiro Sakurai officially revealed by exciting everyone more than ever for the upcoming game.

To take it further, Masahiro Sakurai recently sat down to talk about different characters of the game in details. He talked about how he always wanted a wrestling character in the game eventually “Incineroar” joining the roster.

He then also responded to the lack of trophies in the game by saying that they there were never considered for the game from the beginning. He says that these trophies require a lot of effort and people don’t know about that.

Masahiro Sakurai also talked about the spirits which are included in this all-new World Of Light Mode in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

It’s something we will understand better after playing the game. They also intend to summarize this project design after the official release date next month.

Other than that, the game is rumored to support 32 players online. Well, we will not be surprised if it’s some kind of a battle royale mode with our favorite characters inside. Though we are expecting it to be the total number of players inside a single tournament.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate has been very smooth without any problems. It’s also the reason why the team has already decided the characters of the upcoming DLCs ahead of the official release date.

All of these characters in the upcoming DLC characters are decided by Nintendo itself and there’s currently no information about what they are going to be. Though Sakurai has also requested all of the fans to stop requesting anymore Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters.

The game consists of a very huge roster and it’s going to include every previous character from the series. There are going to be a total of 5 DLC post-launch characters. Each one of them will come with its own stage and a music track.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate will officially release on December 7 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
