New PUBG mobile update is scheduled to arrive today sometime and it also marks the beginning of Season 4 in the game. There are reports that the new 0.9.5 PUBG Mobile update is now rolling out worldwide and is now already available for some players so keep checking.

PUBG Corp and Tencent confirmed that the new update will be rolling out on November 20. But don’t worry, the servers won’t go down this time so you can keep playing until you are ready to update.

If you are waiting for Season 4 gear in PUBG mobile then you will have to download this update to receive it. This update also brings a lot of new content for the “Royale Pass” owners in PUBG mobile which is something similar to the Batte Pass on Fortnite.

Tencent describes:

With Royale Pass, players can complete daily and weekly missions to earn points and increase their rank,” a message from Tencent reads. Players who complete a certain number of missions every week will win additional crates and currency. In addition, more firearm finishes, rare outfits, new character faces and hairstyles will arrive.

This new update in PUBG mobile will bring different weather effects along with a new automatic assault rifle and a new cool looking Scooter for you to ride on the big Sanhok map.

Tencent advises everyone to download this new update via Wi-Fi and all of the new content including Royal Pass events will be only available after updating the game.

What’s new in this 0.9.5 PUBG Mobile update:

  • Added M762 automatic rifle, available in all maps.
  • Added new Sanhok vehicle = Scooter
  • Added dynamic weather to Sanhok
  • Added hardcore mode to provide the same experience as PC.

What’s New in Royal Pass Season 4:

  • Added more firearm finishes, rare outfits, new character faces and hairstyles.
  • Fine-tuned the redemption feature.
  • Added Mission Cards.
  • Added an event where packs are discounted heavily during Black Friday.
  • Increased the odds of certain crate drops.

So update your PUBG mobile today to receive all of these changes. Though keep in mind that server might face some problems even without being down. Also, you will have to update to the latest version of the game if you want to play with your friends with that new gear on.

PUBG Mobile is now available to play on all devices including iOS, Mobile and even on PC using the official PUBG mobile emulator. Though keep in mind that the mobile version of PUBG consists of many bots to make it easier for all newcomers in the game.

PUBG Mobile also won the mobile game of the year award at Golden Joystick Awards. It’s no doubt that the game runs exceptionally well especially on iPhone devices and maybe even better than its PC version which is filled with annoying bugs.

In other PUBG news, the game is finally coming to PS4 in December after a very long wait. PUBG for PS4 will release on December 7 and it comes with different pre-order bundles which you can take a look at here.

PS4 owners will also get some in-game exclusive skins of PlayStation exclusive characters from games like Uncharted and The Last Of Us.
