BioWare is releasing its next big title Anthem early next year. There were rumors that Anthem will not make to its planned release date. However, as it turns out, that isn’t the case. According to Mark Darrah, Anthem’s release date is February 22nd of next year.
The producer responded to a fan on Twitter to address concerns some had about the rumored delay. In response to the Tweet, Darrah confirmed that Anthem’s release date never changed, it is “what it’s always been.”

Mark’s statement addressed the rumor from Reddit claiming that the game is a mess on current-gen consoles. As a result, the game will be delayed while EA tests it on Xbox Scarlett and PS5.
This rumor originated from the same guy who revealed that Sony is skipping the E3 2019 event. This news released on Reddit a day before Sony announced it officially, giving credibility to his word. Hence, many believed Anthem’s release date will be pushed further into the future.
Anthem was initially set to launch in 2018 but later the game got delayed and pushed to 2019. The delay was the result of reported issues with the game’s development. The delay will give developers time to create a complete package, according to BioWare.
A demo for Anthem is exclusively available for the premier members of Origin and EA Access subscribers. The demo will be out on February 1, 2019, for Xbox One and PC.
The game will also be available for pre-ordering on PlayStation 4 through the PlayStation Store but users won’t get early access to the title.
Anthem will now launch on February 22, 2019, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Origin Access and EA Access members can start playing the full Anthem on February 15, 2019.
