RDR Vs RDR2 Vs GTA 5 Sales Comparison is Quite Intriguing

RDR2 is the new kid on the block but it is a Rockstar game so you expect it to sell very well. The game has also had a lot of hype around it so you shouldn’t be surprised if I give you sales numbers in millions. Rockstar just announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold 17 million copies worldwide in the last 8 days. This is more than what the original game sold in 8 years of release.

GTA 5 is another game that Rockstar brought to market and it sold very well indeed. In the first 24 hours since release 11.21 million copies were sold. This accounted for $800 million in worldwide revenue. Three days after release, the game did a billion dollars in sales.

2.25 million copies were sold in the first five days in the UK alone. That is an incredible number of sales in this amount of time. RDR2 is off to a good start in terms of sales and it might cross overall GTA 5 sales as well. Keeping all this in mind you would imagine that GTA 6 would have a lot of hype around it as well. That is very true.

While we do not know much about GTA 6, we recently learned that the game could release in 2020, this would align it with the release of the next generation consoles, the PS5 and Xbox Scarlet. We also learned that Red Dead Redemption 2 remake is in development right now and that it will be released for next-generation consoles.

The game will come with better textures and higher resolution graphics that are in line with the better hardware. Other than that, Rockstar is also working on Bully 2. The game is in development and according to reports, the game will release in 2019. One of the Rockstar devs mentioned that the world of Bully 2 will be similar to the first and that is why it will not take as long to make.
