The Easy Way
If you do not have the time or are not planning to set up your Scouting System at the moment, the best thing that you can do (this should be considered mandatory) is to delegate the scouting duties to your Chief Scout.
You can do this by heading to the “Scouting” tab and then selecting the Chief Scout as the guy responsible for scouting in the top left-hand corner.
What this means is that your Chief Scout will be assigning all the other scouts and sending them out on assignments.

Divide Your Scouts
Although this point is more applicable to the bigger teams rather than the smaller ones, remember that you have multiple scouts in your team and you can assign them all to different duties in order to ensure that you have complete control over the way your team shapes out.
The biggest teams in the world could have more than 30 Scouts. As such, it does not make sense to have all of them searching the same kind of player as that could lead to redundancy in your Scouting System.
