If you have been living under a rock then yes, the RDR2 features areas from Red Dead Redemption. Players get to visit the Red Dead Redemption map once they have completed around 70% of the story. However, Red Dead Redemption 2 also features Mexico from RDR but, its inaccessible and turns out, you can glitch your way into it.
One player has managed to glitch into the RDR map in Red Dead Redemption 2. If you can’t wait to complete 70% of the story then here is how to glitch into the RDR map.
According to the fan, to glitch into the Red Dead Redemption Mexico area in RDR2, first, you need to get to Sea of Coronado in New Austin. Take a look at the map and find “Sea of Coronado”. Now, the glitch happens in the hump of land located next to the “na” in the word “Coronado”.
Players will find a creek there and they will cross the river into the creek. Keep following it until you see two land masses meeting with one another at the narrowest point. The Red Dead Redemption 2 bug happens here.
However, you will find Mexico in Red Dead Redemption 2 empty. It seems that Rockstar Games has placed these assets as a placeholder for future content. Maybe the studio plans to drop a single-player DLC down the line.
Another reason for the existence of these assets could be to make the distant areas look realistic. However, given that how detailed they are, that seems unlikely.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has launched but, Rockstar Games is yet to launch Red Dead Online. While it is yet to arrive but, details have leaked online.
According to the leak, players will be able to duel with each other in Red Dead Online. However, if you don’t want to duel it out with the player then you can just report him to the Law.
