Being an open world title, Red Dead Redemption 2 is designed to consume a lot of a gamer’s hours to complete. This includes the epilogue, which is 6 hours of playtime on its own in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Red Dead Redemption 2, much like its predecessor, is a lengthy open-world title. It’s meant to take a long time for the player to complete. Due to not only its rich story but also the heaping amounts of side activities.
This includes hunting, tabletop games, side quests, and general exploration. The story itself also takes players on a journey throughout the massive game world. Traversing through different climatic conditions and geological landscapes. Makes sense now as to why the game’s file size is massive. And this new revelation only adds to that attribute.
Considering the 50-hour main story on its own plus the endless side content you’d think the epilogue would serve as an icing on the cake. And while it does that, it also takes 6 hours to complete.
Hard to believe we really got this masterpiece for 60$. Shows just how confident Rockstar is in not only their sale potential but also the upcoming Red Dead Online. Whether you speed-run through the main story or decide to take your time with it, players are in for a long journey. With the minimum possible time being clocked in at around 60 hours itself. Excluding the six-hour epilogue.
These intense, long hours were about to invest in the western title to compensate for the time players have spent waiting. Since its been nearly a decade after the release of the original RDR that sunk itself into our hearts and memories. The fact that these long hours are full of actual content and not just a dragging grind excites us even more for the upcoming experience.
