Custom Powercolor RX 590 Spotted Once Again

The RX 590 is rumored to come out soon. Here we have another leak that shows that the custom Powercolor RX 590 is in development. The card was spotted in a listing. Along with other graphics cards that we have already got. So it is more than likely that the RX 590 is around the corner.

There is nothing much that the leak tells us apart from the memory. The card will come with 8 GB of memory. Which is the same as the RX 580 so you can expect to see higher clock speeds. This might be possible if AMD is using a smaller node but we do not know for sure.

I am not sure how AMD is going to achieve this. It is interesting to note that Nvidia does not have any mainstream graphics cards below $500 right now. So this could be the market segment that AMD is trying to target.

The listing also mentions an OC GPU. This could mean that the RX 590 is overclocked out of the box. It could also mean that there will be two version. One will run at stock speeds out of the both. The other will be factory overclocked. This is all speculation made from the listing. Nothing is confirmed right now. So you might want to wait for the official announcement from AMD before taking things to heart.

Another interesting development to keep in mind is the GTX 1060 with GDDR5X memory. While all the major specs are the same, it is a cut-down version of the GTX 1080. So there should be some kind of difference in performance. It will be interesting to see how well this card competes with the AMD RX 590.

Let us know what you think about the Powercolor RX 590 coming out soon and whether you are interested in getting one of these graphics cards when they come out.
