General Grievous Joins Star Wars Battlefront 2 Next Week

The notorious Star Wars villain, General Grievous is set to appear in the Battlefront 2 next week. So, as the four-armed Jedi-killer prepares to wreck havoc players might as well get ready too. In this regard, a recent blog has surfaced on EA’s Star Wars Battlefront 2 website. The blog contains the in-game details about General Grievous including his abilities.

Ever since Star Wars Battlefront 2 roadmap confirmed his arrival the hype didn’t drop for even a bit. General Grievous is one of the most feared Star Wars Battlefront 2 characters in the series. Now we’ll get to see him bring the action to the video game as well.

The Jedi hunter is much known for wielding lightsabers in his four arms. But the regular attacks would only feature him using two of his hands in Star Wars Battlefront 2. The rest of the two arms would come into play in more advanced tactics of General Grievous.

The blog posted on the Battlefront 2 forum explains such advanced abilities:

Thrust Surge
General Grievous focuses on a target in front of him and rushes to them while doing a stab motion with all 4 of his lightsabers.

Claw Rush
General Grievous goes down on all 6 limbs and rushes forward, damaging and pushing away any enemies in his path.

Unrelenting Advance
General Grievous spins two lightsabers over his head and can advance on his enemies. While this is active, Grievous blocks any frontal attacks and damages enemies in front of him.

Besides, abilities of General Grievous he will have certain appearances as well. The renowned characteristic of this Star Wars character is the fear he invokes. But the Battlefront 2 developers decided to add a little more to the persona of General Grievous.

Jedi Hunter
The default appearance for General Grievous will be the Jedi Hunter. When you think of General Grievous, this will be the appearance that you are mostly likely to think of.

Battle Damaged
If General Grievous wasn’t feared enough, then his Battle Damaged visage will certainly invoke an additional sense of fear.

The Battle Damaged appearance going to be a rare one and it’ll cost a hefty amount of credits or crystals. But General Grievous himself isn’t purchasable through crystals. Star Wars Battlefront 2 players can only buy him through 35,000 credits straight up.

The emotes, star cards and voice lines etc. for General Grievous are also mentioned in the EA blog. While we had an idea of how he would look in the game.
