Two Youtubers have worked hard to find out something about new about Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2 after all these years. By looks of it, something is in works maybe a new DLC.
These YouTubers found out a series of updates for games like Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel which hints us that 2K Games is up to something. Borderlands 2 has also received some updates according to the Steam Database.
Borderlands 2 now consists of six sub IDS and they are being updated regularly. Some changes have been done to a file named “Mancana”. This seems like a placeholder until they name it something or announce.
SteamDB also shows an unannounced app which was recently added to the 2K developers’ pack. Borderlands 2 was updated 2 years ago then 2 days ago which makes it all very interesting.
To find out we will have to wait until something is officially announced by 2K Games.
Other than these, Gearbox Software has officially announced Borderlands 2 VR for PSVR. It’s not just that they have transformed the game into a VR but instead the studio “did copious research to find how VR plays best to update the experience so you can now fully sink your eyes into the wild and mayhem-filled world of Pandora with new VR-specific mechanics and skills.”
Gearbox seems to be also working on Borderlands 3 and we are still waiting for an official announcement. Another report has been making rounds on the internet which tells us that the game will be released in 2019.
We might hear about the game at the Games Award as it seems like a perfect place to reveal the game. Gearbox is saving Borderlands 3 for the perfect time and we also think that it might be announced when it’s closer to the release date.
