Bethesda has released a statement to address the upcoming launch of Fallout 76 beta. Bethesda knows that Fallout 76 gameplay issues will be present at launch so they want players to help them find these issues and to give advice.
This long message to the fans was shared on Bethesda’s social media channels. Bethesda mentioned that Fallout 76 beta is just the beginning and not the end of their work on the game.
Usually after years of development, we finally finish, release the game, and take a break. With 76, we feel we have not finished, but reached a starting line where all new work begins. We all know with the scale of our games, and the systems we let you use, that unforeseen bugs and issues always come up. Given what we’re going with 76, we know we’re opening everyone up to all new spectacular issues none of us have encountered.
Bethesda is aware of some Fallout 76 gameplay complaints including the performance issues. These Performace issues were noticed from gameplay when lots of players gathered in the same location. As for other issues, Bethesda is asking the fans to help them find.
Other [issues], we surely don’t. We need your help finding them, and advice on what’s important to fix. We’ll address all of it, now and after launch.
The first beta of the game begins today on Xbox One. Though for PS4 and PC players, it will start on October 30. The beta will start on Xbox One at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET and ends four hours later today.
It’s a closed beta and will be only available to those who have pre-ordered the game.
Bethesda has also revealed that Fallout 76 multiplayer will allow us to create multiple characters. Enclave is also going to be one of the factions in the game.
It’s one of the oldest factions from the series finally making a return. Though it’s still unknown how the factions will actually work out. But we might get to know more about them today when the beta starts.
Fallout 76 beta pre-load is now also available and it will require at least 43.47 GB to install on your system.
