Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Listing Removed, Was a Placeholder

It seems like the rumors were not true. Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version was in news a lot lately since being listed by Media Mark chain.  But now they have confirmed that it was nothing else than just a placeholder.

Last week, we saw Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version being listed through the Swedish Branch of Media Markt. The page listed PC version of the game to be released on December 31, 2019, and you could even pre-order the game.

Now according to Media Markt, it was just a placeholder. They just made this page due to the possibility of the title being announced sometime in the future just like GTA V. It is now also no longer available for pre-order.

RDR has been rumored for a very long time to be in works for PC but it never happened. Now with RDR 2, it’ll be interesting to see how Rockstar ignores all of their PC fans who want to enjoy RDR.

Before this, a developer at Rockstar revealed that the game is in works for PC. That same developer has worked on games like GTA V, L.A Noire, and Red Dead Redemption 2 so it’s hard to stop thinking about it. He mentioned RDR 2 PC on his profile.

Take-Two has also shown a lot of interest in PC games but still, they have never confirmed the game or even denied it.

We believe that RDR 2 PC will happen sometime in the future but not anytime soon as the game is just a few days away from console launch.

RDR 2 is now available for pre-load on PS4 and it’s going to take a whopping 105 GB to install so you better not be late. Though on Xbox, you will need 85 GB to install and play it.

A short gameplay video of RDR 2 has also been leaked. You can check it out here to witness the stunning in-game world. The short clip shows us Arthur in action and the fresh design of weapons wheel.
