Niantic has finally revealed new Pokemon Go Gen 4 Pokemon from Sinnoh region. There is a total of 7 Pokemon Go chains with Gen 4 that you will be able to catch now. Though, don’t expect to catch all of them from the Sinnoh region as some are region-exclusive.
Not all of them are currently available to catch and will be released in waves so you can’t catch them all in one go. Fans of the game have already managed to find over 23 Pokemon from the Sinnoh region while roaming in the wild.
The list of Pokemon Go Gen 4 Pokemon that can be found and come with their own evolutions are:
- Turtwig, Grotle, Torterra
- Starly, Staravia, Staraptor
- Piplup, Prinplup, Empoleon
- Chimchar, Monferno, Infernape
- Bidoof, Bibarel
- Buneary, Lopunny
- Cricketot, Kricketune
The remaining Pokemon Go Gen 4 Pokemon will be released in waves so the players probably will have to wait till the end of the year to collect most of them.
Pokemon without any confirmation of evolution and are available to catch are as follows.
To catch these, you might have to hatch some eggs. Carnivine, the Venus flytrap Pokémon can only be found in the area of Carolina. It’s also been reported that some are only available in Canada and at other locations around the world.
We will have to wait to find out the exact locations as the trainers are currently working on it. Though these region locked Pokemon are not a new thing in the game, it’s been done before with Kangaskan, which is exclusively available in Australia.
Developer Niantic is working really hard to bring new Pokemon to the game. We have also got our first look at 8 Gen Pokemon as a data miner managed to find a never seen before Pokemon.
The unity files of these new Pokemon come with ID #891. Interestingly, it’s already known that only 802 Pokemon belong to 7 Gen which makes this unannounced Pokemon to be a part of 8 Gen.
Other than these, Lucky Pokemon have been added and we have a complete guide here on how to catch them.
