Mark Strong, who you’ll most probably know for starring in movies like Kingsman is going to be a part of the Battlefield V single-player campaign as a voice actor. This information comes from an official Tweet from EA DICE ahead of the single player reveal tomorrow.
Mark Strong will be doing voice-overs for the prologue and epilogue in Battlefield V War stories which is the main core feature of the game. It’s definitely a boost to the game by casting such a famous actor.
Though this is not the first time, Strong has been part of many video games before including Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and Total War: Rome II. Strong. He has appeared in big blockbuster films like the Kingsman, Kick-Ass, Sherlock Holmes, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and RocknRolla.
You can watch Strong in action in the Tweet below which is just a warm up before the release of a new Battlefield V single-player trailer tomorrow.
Despite a lot of criticism since the announcement, there is a lot of hype for the game. It’s set to include buttle penetration for the very first time in any Battlefield game. It will allow you to penetrate bullets through thin materials and do decreased damage to the opponents.
Though, it depends on what kind of gun you are using. Sidearms will be able to penetrate through “doors and thin assets like cloth, light vegetation, and glass”. Unlike SMGs or Shotguns, which will have higher penetration due to close range.
DICE’s global community manager tells us that the game’s roadmap will be revealed ahead of launch. We might have a look at it soon as not much time remains. This time everyone will be interested to have a look at the roadmap as DLCs are going to be absolutely free without any season pass.
Battlefield V was originally scheduled to release in October but it has now been delayed till November. This might be good for the game as it won’t have to collide directly with Black Ops 4, which has been smashing digital records.
Battlefield V will release on November 20, 2018, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
