Devs Hint At A Black Ops 4 Blackout Loot System Like Fortnite Battle Pass

Activision recently posted a blog post which pointed toward a “Supply Stream”. This post suggested that a Black Ops 4 Blackout Battle Pass loot system might be coming to the game. But now that the blog post got deleted fans are curious to know what the Fortnite Battle Pass like system would feature.

The Fortnite Battle Pass like loot system was reportedly going to allow unlocking gears. The news spread across the Black Ops 4 Reddit community like wildfire as soon as the blog post got out. This “Supply Stream” was going progress with various tiers in Black Ops 4 Blackout.

Moreover, several players have reported that Activision even emailed them about it. But as soon as these players got hold of the information the official blog post got erased. Additionally, players having hold of the Black Ops Pass could bounce 10 tiers each season. This could mean that such players would get early access to skins, emotes and weapons.

But the deletion of the blog post can mean all these features could get an entire makeover. Activision might have discovered a loophole in their Fortnite Battle Pass like system. So, developers could have felt something missing in their progressional system. It might turn out as a disaster if they fail to provide a user-friendly Black Ops 4 gameplay.

Black Ops 4 Blackout has managed to bring the Fortnite addiction to a close as well. The Fortnite battle royale dominance recently got outperformed by the Blackout mode on Twitch. Even the renowned Fortnite gamer “Ninja” is thinking to switch over to Black Ops 4 battle royale mode.

While the loot system might still be on hold the Black Ops 4 Reddit fans couldn’t help but discuss the possibilities of it. Such as the Corvus being presented as 100 tier skin. The Twitter community didn’t hold back either.

Developers have made plans apart from the Black Ops 4 Blackout Battle Pass as well. Although the Fortnite Battle Pass like loot system is a step forward the Black Ops 4 PC is still behind with 120 FPS.
