Red Dead Redemption 2: Upgraded Holsters Will Protect Weapons From Degradation

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been in development for a long time. The gameplay shows that Rockstar Games spent that time developing the best game possible. Now Rockstar Games has revealed that holsters will play an important role aside from just holding weapons.

Rockstar Games has started to reveal details regarding Red Ded Redemption 2 through its Twitter account. According to Rockstar, holsters in the game will not only give players the ability to dual-wield but, the upgraded and reinforced holsters will protect single-handed weapons from degradation.

It is clear that Rockstar Games has done its best to create the most believable world and game mechanics. Also, this indicates that weapons in Red Dead Redemption 2 will degrade over time probably depending on their usage.

Speaking of the game, the street date for the game is apparently broken as gamers are already playing it. These early players have revealed that the game requires 50 GB of HDD space on PS4. Not only that, the game has a 3 GB day-one-patch but, don’t expect the size to remain the same.

Furthermore, Red Dead Redemption 2’s full trophy list has leaked online. The trophy list contains trophies/achievements for both single-player and Red Dead Online.

Also, the young John Marston will be voiced by the original voice actor in the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 if the report is to be believed.

As for the game’s resolution on consoles, the base consoles will render it at 1080p. However, the game is native 4K on Xbox One X according to Microsoft.

But, it is unclear if the game will be using dynamic resolution or will be a true native 4K experience. We will know for sure once the game releases.

Also, Rockstar Games is very confident about Red Dead Redemption 2 and has noted that the game has the deepest open-world ever featured in a video game.

R* doesn’t want to call the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 a sandbox. Because in a sandbox, you can do whatever you want. Sure, R* wants to give you a lot of freedom, in their Open World you can do whatever you want, but only as long as it makes sense for Arthur, his story and the world itself.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world action adventure game developed by Rockstar. The game will launch on October 26, 2018, for PS4 and Xbox One.
