Sad news for the fans of Halo series as Halo Infinite will not be a part of X018. Since the announcement of X018, many fans were expecting to know more about the game at the event but 343 Industries doesn’t have any plans for it.
343 Industries has confirmed that they have no plans for Halo Infinite at the upcoming event. Community Director Brian Jarrard of 343 Industries talked about the event in response to a fan. He did mention that they are still deciding about when and where to discuss their upcoming next game.
It’s confirmed that the fans will have to wait more to finally hear about the game. We will get to know more about the game whenever 343 Industries decides to do it.
I'd love to start getting more info out there, and we're talking internally about what/when/where/how, but nothing currently planned for X018.

This was kind of expected as it’s been a very short time since the title got revealed at E3. The game itself will release at least after two years from now by the looks of it. It’s a good step by Microsoft and 343 Industries to reveal major information all at once.
Xbox X018 Conference is taking place in Mexico and it’s going to be full of surprises. These Xbox surprises will be revealed from 3 pm to 5 pm CDT on Saturday, October 10th during the Xbox Show. First party and third party announcements will be part of it so there’s a lot to look out for.
Past Xbox X0 events have brought us big games like Fable and Halo. This is also the reason everyone was expecting to hear about the new Halo at the event.
People are also expecting that Microsoft will announce their next-generation of Xbox called Scarlet. There are a lot of expectation from the event and even more since Sony has clearly mentioned the next-gen console for the first time ever.
As for the new Halo, developers have assured us that microtransactions won’t result in something bad. There have been many concerns about the game over a job description which indicated at microtransactions in the game.
Also, Microsoft hasn’t confirmed that whether there will be Xbox Play Anywhere support for Halo Infinite or not. There’s a lot that we need to about the game and we hope to hear all about it sometime soon.
