Rising from the Ashes
In this quest, you will have to help Aspasia by talking to the dying king and then failing to try to protect a person very dear to you and us. You will also lose the dying king to Deimos, who ultimately gets away with his crime.
Athens is devastated by a plague and you now have to find Aspasia. Aspasia worries over the dying Perikles; you must meet Perikles and finally learn that Phoibe might be in danger.
Return to Athens
After returning to Athens, you will be struck with the terrible news that Athens is in a state of dismal due to a plague running rampant. Everyone is infected. You will see people like Hippokrates, Phoibe, Kleios, and Aspasia trying to help the infected.
Talk to Aspasia
After this very horrendous plague’s cinematic, talk to Aspasia in her home in Perikles’ residence. You will see Hippokrates nearby. You can talk to him to get a side quest ‘A Growing Sickness’.
When you reach the residence or at least 50m near it, Phoibe will come running to you and then run off quickly, stating that she has somewhere to be. She will meet you at Aspasia’s. Head inside Perikles’s residence and talk to Aspasia.
Conversation with Aspaisa
Aspasia will welcome you back to Athens and adds the crumbling state of the world in her conversation. You push to ask Aspasia about your mother, but that is the least of her concerns.
Perikles is dying and does not want to see Aspasia. She wants you to go talk to Perikles in her stance. She promises to talk about your mother afterward.
Head to Perikles
Follow the marker to find Perikles in his room. Interact with the door and a conversation will strike up.
Conversation with Perikles
Perikles will let you in and say that he is embarrassed by his weak state. The conversation will end briefly afterward.
Perikles will pull himself out of bed and leave the room. Follow him. He will claim that he should be helping the people instead of being weak. Perikles will think that the gods have turned their backs on him. You tell him later to head back in bed.
Talk to Aspasia
After this conversation, leap over the balcony and you will find Aspasia running in angst on the first floor. Apparently, Phoibe is not back yet from Anastasios. It will be your job to get her back.
This will complete this mission and unlock the missions ‘And the Streets Run Red’.
And The Streets Run Red
You must learn of Phoibe’s whereabouts and protect her from enemy attacks – but something happens?
Head to Greater Athens
Head for the Greater Athens, towards Anastasios’ house. Follow the marker. When you are 150m from the marker, use Ikaros to pinpoint the location.
Investigate the Home
Enter the pinpointed home, rob the treasure and look for clues. You will deduct that Phoibe was not there and a murder instead has taken place. Evidently, Deimos is involved.
As you leave the home, you will hear Phoibe screaming in the distance. Looking to the northwest, you will see her running from a couple of cultist guards.
Phoibe will run into the Odeon of Perikles and she is ambushed again. Sadly, she does not survive this ambush and that is the end of Phoibe chronicles. Press F to pay respects.
Defeat the cultists who killed our little friend and check on her dead body to pay respects.
Break the News
Sadly, you must now break this sad news to Hippokrates and Sokrates. The mission will end here. Farewell, my friend Phoibe. You were a quick-witted little girl who was taken away too young.
Athen’s Last Hope
You will have to head for the Temple of Athena, fail to protect Perikles and finally escape from Athens with Aspasia.
Head to Temple of Athena
From the Odeon of Perikles, head uphill and find into Parthenon. You will find Aspasia there near the entrance.
Talk to Aspasia
You must now break the bad news to Aspasia too. She will try to say that you did nothing wrong. Sokrates and Hippokrates will catch up to you at the entrance, asking for news on Perikles’ whereabouts. You will hear someone being beaten down.
Everyone will run in the temple to see Deimos pointing his sword at the feeble Perikles. Deimos tells you to stay out of it and escapes while killing our feeble friend. You will have to defeat the two guards here.
Aspasia will be seen crying over Perikles’ body, Sokrates will suggest that they get her out of Athens.
Escape from Athens
You must now head for your ship to get Aspasia out of the country. However, when you are near to the ship, Kleon’s Athenian soldiers will confront you. Kleon wants Asparia with him, but that is not safe. You must kill all five soldiers.
After this battle, Sokrates and Hippokrates will say that they will stay in Athens for the country’s sake. You will later ask both of them to retrieve Phoibe’s body and give her a decent burial.
Aboard the Adrestia
One aboard the Adrestia, you approach Aspasia and apologize for Perikles and Athens. She will say there is no need for apologies. She affirms her belief that it was only the Cult of Kosmos’ fault.
Aspasia will reveal that your mother’s ship was last docked on the island of Naxos and that is our next target.
And that is all for the sixth and very sad chapter of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. It was truly tragic. Thanks for reading Chapter 6. Meet you there in Chapter 7.
