MSI RTX 2070 ARMOR, AERO And DUKE Series Leaked

The MSI RTX 2070 Gaming was leaked recently and now we have the Armor, Aero and Duke series as well. If you were disappointed that there was no MSI RTX 2070 option with triple fans then you need not worry as the Duke come with that design.

MSI RTX 2070 Custom Variants

The MSI RTX 2070 Armor comes in a Black and White design and looks much like the Gaming X but there seems to be a lack of RGB. That might be a good thing if you are not into RGB lighting.

Then we have the Duke has a triple fan cooler and seems to be the beefiest of the bunch. This seems to be the version that will have a higher boost clock but until we have an official announcement this is something that we cannot confirm. It does have a Black and Silver look that is very clean and stylish.

MSI RTX 2070

Last but not the least, we have the MSI RTX 2070 Aero that has a blower style fan. This is most likely going to be the cheapest of the lot but it is a great option to consider if you are interested in liquid cooling your graphics card.

The Nvidia RTX 2070 is the minimum requirement or Nvidia real-time ray tracing. If you are interested in buying a card that supports the feature then the RTX 2070 is the cheapest option to go for.

You should keep in mind that as of right now, there aren’t any games that support this feature. We know that titles will support this feature but the list is not all that big. This is something that you will need to keep in mind if you are interested in getting an RTX graphics card.

Nvidia’s Tom Petersen talked about the performance of the RTX 2070 and the following is what he had to say in this regard:

So I would say with 6 Giga Rays you can definitely imagine you’re not going to be able to ray trace the same way you do with a 2080 Ti, but kind of like level-of-detail, or like Ultra, Min, Max settings, you’re going to cast fewer rays. It’ll be a little less sharp in the reflection, a little less clear in the ambient occlusion, but it’s still going to look pretty good.

Let us know what you think about these MSI RTX 2070 graphics cards and whether or not you are interested in getting one of these models when they come out later this month.
