Most of You Won’t Be Able to Play Black Ops 4 on Day One, Here’s Why

If you have slow internet connections and plan to buy a disc copy of Black Ops 4 PS4 and Xbox One, we have news for you. The publishers of the game have given a heads up to all its players ahead of the release. Users should ready themselves for downloading loads of data on the opening day. There is 50GB day-one Black Ops 4 patch is announced.

Before playing for the first time, players will need to download and install a day one update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. This update must be installed completely in order to access Multiplayer, Zombies, and Specialist Headquarters. Blackout is fully playable once installation is about 30% complete (approximately 16-20 GB).”

The day one update package is roughly 50 GB. Download speeds may vary based on region, platform, connection type, and the speed of your internet connection.

Meanwhile, Activision advises that players must keep their consoles systems updated as well. Furthermore, the optimal space that users must have freed up in their hard drives is 112GB. Although the size of the download isn’t going to take this space it is what the installation requires.
