Even More Players Will Earn Platinum in Spiderman PS4, 10% is Just the Beginning

Spiderman PS4 players are really enjoy the game. 10% of players have already got platinum trophy which is higher than usual

If you haven’t heard already, Spiderman PS4 platinum trophy is earned by 10% of its player base. It is unusually high for an open world game of this scale. However, the number is expected to rise further. A major hurdle in getting the platinum trophy is completing 145 random crime challenges throughout the city as they pop up across the city.

According to a ResetEra user, 15% have completed this challenge which means if they stick to their path, they too will unlock platinum. So in the coming weeks, we can expect Spiderman PS4 platinum trophies to grace 15% of the game’s user base.

I’ve never seen a game which requires a fair amount of work outside the main path have such a high percentage. Achieving 100% in all districts also requires 145 repetitive random crimes being completed and even over 15% of people have done that. Guess it just shows how many people loved the gameplay and wanted to do all they could.

The DLC for this is going to be very popular, as is New Game + and the Ultimate difficulty incoming.

Spiderman PS4’s first piece of DLC is releasing later this month. There are three pieces of DLC planned for release until December of this year.

  • October 23: Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist
  • November 2018: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars
  • December 2018: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining

All additional content is paid and each piece of DLC is available for $9.99. However, you can grab the entire bundle for $24.99. More content could release considering the fact that millions are enjoying the world created by Insomniac Games.’

In fact, the world created by Insomniac is expected to expand with a sequel to Spiderman PS4 in the next few years. That’s not all, the Marvel Gaming Universe is in the works which means more Marvel games will roll out. Iron Man is the next likely candidate to get his own game.
